ReplyDeleteGood luck, Mary Lee!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's an evocative word. I know you'll do wonderful things with it!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with this. At least I knew what it meant.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever read Journey of the Shadow Bairns? I think that is the correct title. It is an oldie, but goodie. Scottish kids who came here as orphans and went on a train to the mid-west, maybe. It was a good story. Not earth-shattering, but engaging. In the vein of the Orphan Train books, but different, too.

ReplyDeleteGood luck - sending positive thoughts :)
